Two Labor and Delivery Suites
Choosing a hospital is important when deciding where to deliver your child. At Memorial Health Center, we have two labor and delivery rooms designed and decorated to enhance the family birth experience. Each room also has its own Jacuzzi tub to aid in relaxation and massage.
After your delivery, you and your newborn will be cared for by our trained professional staff. Our nurses will monitor you and your baby, including obtaining vital signs and completing a physical exam and assessment of your baby's health. At this time, our qualified nursing staff will be able to help you establish the beautiful bonding process between mother and child and also assist with breastfeeding or bottle-feeding.
A few hours after the birth, you and your baby will be moved to the acute care area where the nursing staff will provide expert care for you and your child during the recovery phase of your stay. You will have the opportunity to learn what to expect when you go home, and our nursing staff will be available to provide information on the delicate care of a newborn as well as be a resource for any questions you may have.
